Viridian conducts soil vapor surveys to assess upward vapor intrustion risk from volatile chemicals. We provide active, passive and flux chamber soil vapor surveys using EPA-supported and multi state guidance methods. Vapor intrusion services are critical investigative tools when assessing potential contamination from dry cleaners, gas service stations and other sites using volatile organic compounds and chlorinated hydrocarbons. The firm has conducted soil vapor surveys in NY, MD, NC, VA, PA and NJ. 

Viridian has demonstrated soil vapor collection techniques for regulators in USEPA Region II and in NH, CT, MA, NY, and NJ, NC and PA.

Viridian conducts Environmental Site Assessments and environmental audits for banks and other lenders, property owners, and prospective buyers. Our in-house staff provides all types of preliminary, Phase I and Phase II assessments, including ASTM Standard Practices, FDIC/HUD checklists.We provide consulting for industrial property owners undergoing Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA) compliance investigations and cleanups. Also, we plan and manage underground storage tank (UST) projects, including permitting, closure, and subsurface evaluation.
